How USATestprep Developed Its Arizona: AIMS Review

Official Info
AIMS

Arizona’s Instrument to Measure Standards (AIMS)
Since 1999, all public High School students in the state of Arizona are required by the Department of Education (DOE) to take and pass comprehensive AIMS tests in Reading, Writing and Mathematics. The content of the tests is based on material students should be exposed to by the end of 10th grade. The tests are typically given in the spring of a student’s sophomore year. Students have up to four opportunities to pass these tests if they fail on their first administration, and districts typically provide remediation for these students. Accommodations for students with disabilities and English Language Learners are available. If students do not pass each of these tests, they may be able to meet the alternative graduation requirements to gain a High School Graduation Diploma.

USATestprep, Inc. has carefully researched all of the standards set forth in the AIMS Blueprints and has developed questions and answers based on these standards. There is no relationship (real or implied) between the Arizona Department of Education and USATestprep, Inc. It is our intent that the content of our web page will closely match the test-taking experience. However, there is no guarantee of content overlap as every year the DOE makes new tests, and every year the USATestprep, Inc. library of questions grows. It is simply our desire that through your experiences on this website, you may become more comfortable with the content and gain the knowledge necessary to successfully complete whatever the Department of Education puts on the Arizona Instrument to Measure Standards tests.
