How USATestprep Developed Its California: CAHSEE Review
California High School Exit Examination (CAHSEE)
Beginning with the 2005-2006 school year, all High School students in the state of California are required by the Department of Education (DOE) to take and pass comprehensive tests in Mathematics, Writing and Reading. If students do not pass each of these tests, they will not receive a public High School Graduation Diploma. The English/Language Arts tests cover material through the tenth grade year. The mathematics test covers concepts through Algebra I. The first opportunity to take the CAHSEE is given in the second half of the 10th grade year. If students do not pass on the first try, they have up to five more opportunities to pass the tests. For those students who fail to pass the test(s) after these trials, many alternative options remain that local districts can offer. The DOE selected Educational Testing Service to develop, administer and score the CAHSEE. The CAHSEE is designed to ensure that students who graduate from high school have developed the necessary skills for success after high school.
***USATestprep meets CLRN review criteria***
USATestprep, Inc. has carefully researched all of the strand information set forth in the CAHSEE Exam Blueprints and Study Guides produced by the DOE and has developed questions and answers based on these strand details. There is no relationship (real or implied) between the California Department of Education and USATestprep, Inc. It is our intent that the content of our webpage will closely match the test-taking experience. However, there is no guarantee of content overlap as every year the DOE makes new tests, and every year the USATestprep, Inc. library of questions grows. It is simply our desire that through your experiences on this website, you may become more comfortable with the content and gain the knowledge necessary to successfully complete whatever the Department of Education puts on the California High School Exit Examinations.
