Alabama Reading and Math Tests (ARMT)

The Alabama Reading and Math Test (ARMT) is an assessment given to all 6th, 7th and 8th grade students in reading and math. The assessments are designed to gauge the student mastery of the content standards set forth in the Alabama Course of Study in these courses. The percent of students who score at a proficient level or above on the ARMT must be equal to or exceed the state objectives for each school for AYP purposes.
